Global climate strike: screenshot and email this OOO message to your boss

Planning to attend Greta Thunberg's global climate strike tomorrow? Here's a handy OOO message to use...

It’s already happening, certainly in the British GQ offices. A colleague came up to my desk just this morning and whispered, “Are you going on the climate strike tomorrow? I want to but I’m worried about what my line manager will think. I don’t want to get fired for my beliefs…” You know what I did? I sent my concerned colleague this handy OOO message made by Uncommon London, explaining they too should forward it on to said myopic manager.

The OOO was made by Uncommon London, a new type of ad agency who are hell bent on putting their ethics where advertisers' mouths should be. Let’s face it if we all did nothing, if we all put hard profit before doing right by the planet, if Greta Thunberg and her army of enlightened, proactive climate strikers woke up tomorrow and decided to knock all their activism on the head, then where would we be? Send your answers to President Donald Trump on the back of dead orangutan.

We understand that no everyone is able to pull their children out of school, or take a day off work, but if you can, do. Everyone else, even if you’re stuck behind the desk job, screenshot this message, post it, share it and support the kids out there marching for their lives. You'll thank them for it, eventually.
