Brad Pitt is currently on a promotional tour for his new film, Ad Astra, and while that's all well and good (it's meant to be great, FYI), it's actually what he's got on his wrist that we're excited about. As you know, we here at GQ know a good watch when we see one, and Pitt's wrist-gear of choice is exactly that.

So what does a Hollywood A-lister go for? Well, if you're Brad Pitt, a Breitling Premier B01 Chronograph 42 Norton Edition. The watch in question is one of the jewels in an extremely well-polished Breitling crown and celebrates Breitling’s partnership with British motorcycle manufacturer Norton. So, really, there's no question as to why Brad Pitt favours it, being a Breitling ambassador as well as a keen motorcyclist (you remember the days when he and Pax would ride LA's streets on a Ural Tourist motorcycle, right?).
The self-winding mechanical timepiece features a 42mm stainless-steel case and is powered by the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01 and is a watch that will (forgive us) stand the test of time. Sitting at the more traditional end of the watch spectrum, it is made for the man who wants to make an impact, but without any of the fuss and frills. Sure, it may feature vintage-style Arabic numerals, but these are seriously chic.
Essentially, Pitt's go-to watch is much like him: a well-tuned classic that can exist in any space or time and still look good. For more classic watches that won't just get the job done (telling the time, that is), but will also give you a touch of Hollywood legend to your look, see below...
